It could be seen in her eyes that Artemis was doing best not to shut Amy out, as she had learned to do long ago in attempt of protecting herself from being emotionally hurt. Those she trusted enough to share her past with nearly always died before their time was fufilled. "I suppose, if this is an intervew then you should be asking me questions." Artemis stated, knowing she couldn't escape answering Amy, she only hoped if she would answer the questions then she would be satisfied for a time.
"Come on then," Amy said, beckoning her to follow. "No matter how unprofessional I may seem, I don't conduct interviews while washing dishes," she chuckled. She filled two mugs with coffee and took them to her favorite table in the shop, nodding to a chair for Artemis to sit. She flipped the sign to closed, making a mental note to switch it back after, then took a seat.

Artemis followed, allowing herself to relax as she sat across from Amy. She smiled, still nervous, before taking a sip of the coffee. "What is it that you want to know?" She afterwards asked.
(I have to go, I'll be back in a couple hours ;) )

(Okay, thanks for the heads up :) )

"Full name first, please," Amy requested, "but not your real one. I need a substitute because I certainly can't call you by your real name in case a guard were to happen to come in, you know." She pulled her mug towards herself and wrapped her hands around it, enjoying the warmth it spread through her.

Artemis become silent, momentarily I'm thought. "Layla Auden, I suppose that will do." Artemis lifted her head to meet Amy's gaze and smiled slyly.

"Good. Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, Layla," Amy said with a playful smile. "Now, what was your previous occupation?" She asked, posing her hands as if she were writing on a notepad.

"Does being a spy count as an occupation?" Artemis asked in quiet, yet playful tone.

Amy chuckled at her serious yet humorous reply. "Good enough for me. Have you ever been imprisoned? If so, how long and for what?" She obviously didn't word a typical interview like this as this was a special case. Besides, it wasn't a real interview, simply a way to have Artemis explain herself with ease.

"No," Artemis replied, her tone suddenly more serious. She hoped that being imprisoned didn't include being captured by the C.M.I., she wasn't ready to share those details. "I have never been imprisoned in a government prison." And that was true.

"I was simple referring to where you just came from," Amy said gently. "How long were you there, and how did they find you?" She hoped Artemis didn't think this was an actual interview. Amy intended to have her help no matter her replies.

Artemis looked out the window momentarily as painful memories flooded her. "I was there a week after they found evidence that I was contacting the Contenders with information on the C.M.I." She replied quietly, meeting Amy's gaze. "I told them nothing, I swear." She admitted with sincerity.
