Brooklyn thought that was a good idea, but didn't express it. "I would feel awful if you did that." She explained genuinely.
Simeon didn't answer. He knew what had to be done, and he knew how dire their situation was. He said "I saw a dealership about a mile back. I can go sell the car while you get some more rest." He lied "It's not a problem. It's just a car."

With the crowd being so thin now, Amy took a minute to hurry upstairs and get some mugs she had left from yesterday's coffee. "I'll be back in a min!" She called to Artemis as she left.
----------
Jaxson stopped at the window and glanced in. There was the girl he had seen yesterday, the one he felt he knew yet she denied completely. There were a few people at tables, but there was no Amy. He watched a couple get up and leave before deciding to just go in and hope for the best. As the door was falling closed after the couple, he quickly caught it and entered slowly.

"Take your time!" Artemis called with a smile, at the moment she had no customers to tend to, but even when she did there wasn't stressed involved for her, so there was no reason for Amy to rush. She finished clearing the tables as Jaxson entered, irritation evident on her face rather than fear as the day before.

Brooklyn nodded in agreement with a sigh; she knew Simeon couldn't be persuaded to do otherwise.

Unease apparent, Jaxson stood in the doorway for moment before going to the counter.

Peter sat quietly and sipped his coffee watching the customers come and go

( He's so clueless XD )
Artemis soon returned from the kitchen after not having found Amy. Perhaps it was the for the best that Artemis had been left to cater to Jaxson, she was well aware of his true nature, and could not be deceived by his charms as Amy was. "What do you want?" Artemis asked as she reached the counter, the question stated in such of a way it seemed like sge was inquiring of his intentions rather than what kind of coffee he wanted.

Jaxson was taken aback by her tone. "I'd like a cup of coffee," he said quickly to appease her demand. "And I would like to talk to the owner," he then added, not as a threat to the girl's position but because he needed to talk to Amy.

Artemis sighed not having gotten the answer she had asked for, but turned to get his coffee; she would inform Amy that he was here when she returned.
(He doesn't even see the wound at the base of her neck, I'm really trying to give you hints man, figure it out :gig )
