Menu for Christmas supper number 1 will be........

Spiral ham with glaze
Hashbrown casserole
Green beans
Baked mac and cheese
Stuffed portobello mushrooms
Yeast rolls
Vanilla cake dip and Christmas cookies
Giggle juice and cranberry-lime margaritas
I am planning on making chickens and dumplings for Christmas. The chicken will likely be one of our cockerels. I have a great recipe from a fellow BYC member, so I am excited to try it out. I have never had it before, but it looks good!

I love Christmas cookies, especially peppermint cookies!

You gonna make your own dumplings?

My favorite way to cook it is to just drop globs of Bisquick into the soup, they're not gummy that way. I haven't had chicken and dumplings in years😭

Not sure if that is what you call it....but yes, everything in the dish will be homemade. I think that is what the recipe calls for too.

What do you stuff them with?
I dump Pecorino Romano bread crumbs, grated parm, cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, salt, pepper, and an egg in a bowl. Then sautée the stems (diced), diced green onions, and minced garlic. Add that to my other ingredients and then mix together and stuff the caps with it.

That sounds really good!
