I am planning on making chickens and dumplings for Christmas. The chicken will likely be one of our cockerels. I have a great recipe from a fellow BYC member, so I am excited to try it out. I have never had it before, but it looks good!

My favorite way to cook it is to just drop globs of Bisquick into the soup, they're not gummy that way. I haven't had chicken and dumplings in years

The batter is just self-rising flour, an egg, and some milk.
Have you ever tried Culver's? Sooo good! It's my cheat place, the only place I let myself eat fast food because, well, it's worth it there
We don't have those here. I've heard they're good though!
What do you stuff them with?
I dump Pecorino Romano bread crumbs, grated parm, cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, salt, pepper, and an egg in a bowl. Then sautée the stems (diced), diced green onions, and minced garlic. Add that to my other ingredients and then mix together and stuff the caps with it.
That sounds really good!
