Happy Hatchday to my best bird friend, and first ever chicken, JOY!

Tomorrow, April 17th will mark my 4th year of chicken keeping and 4 years of a very special life. Joy has been through so much with me, and I couldn’t ask for a better hen by my side.

There will be tons of mealworms, scratch, snacks, and more!

Funny thing is that photo was taken while she was sick with EYP last summer. She was On the verge of death, but yet you could never tell by looking at that photo

She made a full recovery though, and I'm very grateful
