The keeper quails. All of them are females which of course is only a minor issue when you are breeding quails... I can't remember who comes from/is related to who anymore and I don't think I wrote it down anywhere 🥲.

I don't know what these colours are called some are supposed to be pansy (I think 3 are?) I will be keeping track to try and work out the genotype because quail colour names seem to be a mess

I love you quail's coloring! It's so unique.
I used to have a flock of quail, but they all got wiped out in one night by a raccoon.
Hoping to get back into them someday.

I'll be sure to follow along in this thread. :)

Saturday we went to a wool show, well it was more of a yarn show 😆. We went on a coach to get there which was both mine and Fanta's first time! She did really well but didn't not enjoy it

Unfortunately the show was not great. It was advertised as very accessible, quite rooms, wide aisles, etc. Except once we get there its in a room with no natural, instead it had a row on both of the long walls of bright almost spotlight type lights pointed down. So if you looked at the stand there was a bright light pointed directly at you :barnie at least I had a raincoat on, so I could put the hood up and then it was manageable. Even people who do not have light/sensory issues struggled with it!

On top of that the aisle's where wide but the stands where not 😅 and they had no signs for the quite room, not even on the map!

There was very little wool and mostly yarn. In one of the few stands with wool I was discussing one of the wools with my mother and one of the stand owners interrupts us to tell us it isn't yarn :lau apparently people had been asking them how you where supposed to knit with the un-spun top!

There where a lot of assistance dogs and 2 charity trained guide dogs. At first I was worried because Fanta struggles with working around very few dogs but then the guide dogs kept pulling towards her too 😅. The training of working dogs is slowly losing my respect, "highly" trained for them is not what I would call highly trained! I have yet to see a guide dog that does not pull to sniff other dogs! At least it does make me feel better about Fanta's training 😆
