With the recent litter of deformed babies I'll be looking for an out of state Big Ugly Buck who doesn't carry Max Factor.

If you do it consistently and it's never a bad experience. I do this so that they are easy to show.
Partridge is not show quality but she's still being handled like a show rabbit so that she's easy to handle in any situation.

No. Big Ugly Buck is a term used for a rabbit who didn't inherit any dwarfing genes. If he doesn't have a dwarf gene then my does can't produce double dwarfed babies. Their litters will be safe.
I will still look for good traits like posture and fur quality but he'll be longer in the legs, body, ears and face. He'll look ugly for a dwarf. Not show quality. But he will still be able to produce strong healthy show quality babies.
