🐇The Bunny Barn🐇

Pics
Some sad news today. Wonton escaped the nest and became too cold overnight. He/She had mother to snuggle with but still died😞
This is the first time one of my bunnies has done that, not happy about it😕

RIP sweetie

On a much happier note, the NDs are getting so big! They're like fat extra fluffy hamsters.

Poinsettia, the especially tiny and uniquely colored baby.

These babies are incredibly cuddly! When most babies would flinch or run away these guys run after me and won't be put to bed!
This is what I deal with every night

Sorry for the loss. He/she was beautiful.
Yeah, I usually lose one or even two babies out of a first time litter. I had hoped this mom would be a different story. She peed in the nest, I'm thinking that might be why the baby left. I cleaned everything up now and the rest are perfectly healthy.
Wonton was also slightly skinny, that may be why the cooler temps took him so fast. Normally a bunny that old would be fine outside of the box. I can't do anything for a baby like that except for leave it in the nest.
