cool I would love to have cochins bantam and standard but I can't find them for sale anywhere

these two are jack and penny. penny is a little smaller than the standard for wyandottes i think shes about the size of a bantam cochin not by weight but by how big the bantam cochins fluffy makes them look

yea most hatcheries are sold out right now but around febraury most have day olds available.

even though i havent finished introducing my flock i thought it would be good to give memory to the ones we lost this july.

first up i would like us to take a moment to appreciate bunny my splash cochin

i remember the first time i saw her i knew her name would be bunny. i remember earning her trust when she was a baby at first she was very scared of me but eventually she started falling asleep in my arms i also remember moving her into the chicken coop and she didnt know what to think. bunny was also a brave little bird. she was in love with penny would chase jack who was a cockerel at the time if he got too close to penny. i remember the time she escaped the run and i was freaking out bc i didnt know where she was. i even spent time tracking her growth as she grew
