Hi guys,

This bird is 16 wks, I always thought she was a pullet, however I'm seeing a curve in her sickles feathers that has me worried. I would love some opinions, as you can guess I am kinds new to this.

Many Thanks,
❀️

Can you get me a picture of its saddle that’s in focus? Sussex are slow to mature and loose feathered which make things difficult. I wouldn’t sex by tails, both genders can get curved feathers but I suspect it may have pointed saddle feathers which indicate cockerel. Something like a pic of him being held or like this:

Also, this bird does not show any of the signs I am used to seeing well before now with my others such as odd croaky noises, dancing, hackles up, attempts to begin mounting or even courting girls. Thanks for any replies ❀️
