If by “Regular” you mean single. Then yes.

And silkies should actually have walnut comb which are a mix of pea and rose. Though silkies with single have been seen more and more.

Pea and Rose are dominant which would cover up the single in a first gen cross and any chicks they had effect on.

Sulky’s chicks are really a mix of mixes, but just because it has Legbar wouldn’t cause comb growth. That would happen anyways no matter the breed.

No, he accounts for the polish in both chicks too. He's a Polish silkie X. I'm interested in seeing the chicks combs now!

Yes that is what I meant. Most of my silkys combs grow slower then my other breeds.

BLOB COMB!!! Aka bad quality walnut comb! I've got a couple of roosters like that! Combs like that seem fairly resistant to frostbite.
