🐲 How to Train Your Dragon Hatch-a-Long 🐲

Pics
The good thing about the next hatch-a-long is that all the ones in it are going to be keepers, not sellers. Today 6 of the chicks are going to a new home.

So, the next hatch-a-long is going to begin tonight or tomorrow. The one beginning tonight or tomorrow will be spooky themed. It has Bantam Cochins, Polish, Frost White Legbars, and one Buff Orpington or Golden Sexlink egg (unless my Legbar lays another egg by then).

And tomorrow the second hatch-a-long will begin. This one will consist of many variants of Olive Eggers. That one will be Tim Burton themed.

And since these ones are going to be keepers, I will be more likely to mark them with a zip tie.
Tag me for the spooky-themed one! I already think I have a name picked out.

Sometimes you have to go with your instincts despite what google says. I know it is day 22 and some chicks may just be slower, but Fishlegs had no progress from his pip yesterday, and he seemed to have stopped trying.

So this morning I opened up his pip and sure enough, he was ready to hatch, all the blood vessels on the air cell lining were gone and he was really pushing to get out. I got him out safe and sound and now he is sleeping in the incubator in the fetal position.

@Themellowyellows Fishlegs has joined the world!
Yay!!!! Im so glad!
