I just got my first 3 pekin ducklings 11 days ago!
A little about me and my family, I'm a stay at home mama to 3 kids (11y, 8y, and 2y). We have a 1yr old 80lb mutt named Chewie and a 3yr old cat named Figaro. We are living on my husband's grandparents' land. They have a farm on about 100acres in Northern Florida. It's been fun learning how to help care for the 5 horses (one is in a pasture in my backyard), 1 bull, 1 steer, 8 cows, 3 heifers, 3 claves born this year, 15 chickens (14 new last year) and 1 rooster!
I learned about BYC about a month ago while researching before getting my own little feathered friends. I keep finding myself back in the threads searching for answers so I figured I might as well join the family now!
