@007Sean, deepest condolences. He was a beautiful bird and 12 Years? Whow! A testament to the loving care you gave him.

Evening fellow sinners. Dragged ourselves in from working on the fence about 3:30. We could of worked more but it started to rain so that was a better excuse for quitting other than the fact that we are one solid ache right now.

Congratulations on the chicks Penny. We would love to see a pic of them. Right now my chicks are residing in their shells in the incubator....which when I candle them this weekend, will be stuffed under my broodies. I'm hoping for 4 bantam chicks and 6 fayoumi or fayoumi cross chicks.

One of the broodies must be related to SCG's blood letting hen turkey as she chews on me every time I take eggs out from under her. I'm debating on whether to break her or give her eggs. If I give her eggs she will be a great mother. But she won't let me touch her babies meaning they will be wild as March hares.....
 
Just bought myself help to start processing cockerel again as our poultry auction seems to still be shut down 56.00 said and done

Years ago Emmit's brother gave us this feed sack because he knew my taste in decorating and thought I'd love it.

It has been on my wall for 4 years. Cleaning today and just really looked at it for the first time.

4 YEARS it's been on my wall! God I can only imagine what some people have thought if they noticed.

Will be thoroughly inspecting any future home decor from the BIL. :lau
