Are there skunks in Australia?
I think that skunks are 'New World' species. Indigenous to North and South America. They have been introduce to several Carribean islands.
Australia may have what they call 'stink badgers' but I'm not sure of that, and if so, they were from escaped pets.

Nope! Pretty sure they don't exist here! But oh boy, do foxes make up for our lack of coons, coyotes, etc. Everyone in the street (but me) has lost chooks. Actually, many years ago, we had friends down the street with chickens. Looong before I cared about them. Their dumb hen swallowed 15 bolts and nuts. They paid over a grand for surgery....it was on the news! The chicken recovered well.....BUT WAS EATEN BY A FOX A MONTH LATER!!!!!!!!!!! Sad, but kinda funny!
