I looked at some old posts of his and looks like he was a good member to have around. Too bad he's gone. :(

He was about as witty as they come. He and I spent a lot of time hanging with MississippiFarmBoy when he was dealing with his health issues - good memories of good people.

I have had ravens pace me after leaving a stop sighn Eyeballing back and forth then Drop a nut and veer up and over the car... Raven in the rear view mirror Picking at the treat....

So DH was working in the yard yesterday and kept hearing an odd noise. Turns out the noise he was hearing was crows dropping walnuts on the road. Once dropped, the crows would land and pick up the cracked bits. That's pretty darn smart!

That utterly amazes me. We have 5-6 big black crows that hang around here. The lady who we bought the house from (12 years ago) used to feed what was then 10-12 in the back yard. I don’t feed them.

I know that my chickens pay careful attention to the crows as they are usually chasing hawks.
