Back then common sense was common. Nowadays I wouldn't trust too many to do any of that with their kids. I remember being 7 and having better sense than a lot of parents today.

True this. I even had to teach my grandson how to pee outside. Believe it or not my son in law took offense to that. Of course I neglected to tell the kid not to do it in public places.

Mother Nature needs to chill. We still have the beer virus to worry about.

Most of our Magpies are gone here. Crows seem to be making a comeback but I do not see as many as I used to here

My son (autistic) was a challenge to potty train. A lot of people told me to take his diaper off so he couldn't poop in it and he'd be more inclined to go to the toilet. We were outside with the dogs the first time he pooped outside of wearing a diaper. He apparently learned by watching the dogs. Training to the toilet after that was a breeze.
