I'm frying pork chops.

Bread intimidates me if it's anything other than biscuits. I can bake like Martha Stewart and cook like Paula Deen... but when it comes to bread I shy away. Which is odd since it's my favorite to eat. My mother has been trying to get me to try making it myself for years. I did make big soft pretzels once! They were yummy.

If you can find one or afford a new one, get yourself a Zojirushi bread maker. So worth it, to me at least. Used to bake bread with zero issues when I lived in NY. Moved to CO and could not bake bread, I must have tried hundreds of times to get loaves to come out right, modified all the things I read to try, never could get it right. Somehow this one bread maker gets it right almost every time, so it's obviously something I never got figured out.

Your one in million I gave away the bread maker ... For higher altitude there are many more challenges

There is a new automatic process for getting stuff into the featured threads header. It looks like something might be broken or else it was not looked at too well.

I might contact the group on that project to see what they say
