Next time you see your doctor why don't you ask if they could recommend a dietitian for you.
Find out if your insurance would cover those classes they may even cover a dietitian for a certain amount of time.
A medical doctor is only going to do so much for you. You will have to take the initiative and be proactive seeking out support.

He honestly didn’t mention it or call or anything, I only found out cause I signed up for the digital thing and saw the lab results myself. Which I had to really push to even have the labs done.
I did note in his notes though that it mentions diabetes diagnosis and to discuss with patient (me) in March (my next physical) but I feel like I should try to go sooner or at least call and discuss it. Idk if he even knows I can see that hah
