How many people can be logged in to/editing a Google Sheet at one given time?

My guess was however many people had access to edit it could be editing it at one time but...

According to my Google search only 50 people can be given the permission to edit one sheet and only 10 can actually edit it at the same time.

Not sure how true this is yet.

My extra today has been fast paced walking in 13 degree weather. I walked the dogs up and down our driveway 8 times equals 2 miles…they needed the exercise.

You might be able to log in on a browser. I don't know but you still won't be able to unless I add you/give editor permissions.
