So in June I was given 11 baby turkeys, they were wild, but had no mom because her nest was hit when someone was haying their field. I kept losing them, from bad storms, them flying away, etc.! Until November I lost another leaving one left. I found someone who had a Tom around her age for sale, so I contacted them and went to pick him up (I knew she would die if I didn’t get a companion for her). Anyway, they did really well, but he’s so much bigger!!! She already 6 months and is so tiny! She is eating but doesn’t get a lot because of the tom. He’s already to mate and she definitely isn’t, could he be stressing her out and that be why she’s not growing? Does anyone know what to do? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
