The light inside, still in full bloom

Tales told by ink-stained hands
Loyal friends in far off lands
Troubles mounted like an untamed steed
Triumphs won by those in need

To prove themselves to those that care
And play the cards that they dare
In the end, all is not lost
A loving friend who paid the cost

In remembrance and victory, the battle won
And ride off into the setting sun
