1.5 year old Beautiful Silver Laced Rooster we call Fred.
He needs more hens than I have. My girls need a break as they are completely oversexed. We have not found one of our eggs not fertilized in the last nine months. He is a great protector of the flock, beautiful to look at and he definately gets the job done.

Pretty what kind is he a SLW mix or a Hamburg mix?

I am not sure. The people I got him from said he was a purebred, but I was caught up in the moment and never asked what kind. I was just excited I was getting a rooster. I posted his picture and I got more SLW than anything. He has beautiful qualities of both so maybe he is crossed with both.
