So I have a 7 litre/ 1.8gallon fish tank laying around doing nothing and I was wondering if I could maybe put some cherry shrimp in their or aquascape it with live plants or if anyone else has any other ideas of what I could do with the tank would be much much appreciated. Thxx an have a wonderful day!!

An if I were to start a colony of red cherry shrimp how many could I have? Or anything else really other than fish.

I would think you could get quite a few shrimp. How big is the bottom length? There are other kinds of shrimp you could get. Ghost shrimp, blue shrimp. You could get a few different ones and have a red, white, blue tank! And get a marimo ball. Those things are cool!

I would aquascape it with a small piece of driftwood, maybe a few pieces of ohko stone or lava rock, and lots of easy-to-grow plants like crypts, anubias, anacharis, watersprite, and maybe some marimo moss balls. You could put some floating plants in there too, like salvinia.
For stocking, you could either put some snails or shrimp in there. If you want cherry shrimp, you could probably put about 2-4 males in there. If you want females, then I would start with less so they don't overpopulate too quickly. You should also have a place where you can bring the babies.
If you want some more advice, you can make an account on Tropical Fish Forums. There are lots of knowledgeable people on there who can help you set up a successful shrimp tank.

Here is a blue shrimp I used to have until my gourami ate him. He is on the marimo ball I told you about

Thank you so much🤩!! And btw the bottom length is roughly 21cm and I will try to aquascape it with a tiny piece of driftwood and some the plants you mentioned that we're easy to care for and put in some marimo moss balls too! I can put a pic of the empty tank currently. Thxxx, I really appreciate it! :bow

This is the tank btw!!
It comes with a heater set to 82 degrees Fahrenheit/28 degrees Celsius I also have a adjustable heater that I can use for this tank aswell
