Last evening when broody silkie got up to eat I took a strong flashlight and checked the two eggs she
has been sitting on since about the 15th of Feb. One had a large air space but no sign of anything else
in the egg that I could tell. The second egg obviously has a chick inside. I could see what looked like feet? up against the
side of the egg. But a dark mass in the egg for sure. The eggs are from bantam WCP so white and small. Both the eggs
were laid the same day and put under the silkie the same day. It sounds like we can expect only 1 chick correct?
