1 chicken dead, another sick!

Okay thanks for clarifying that for me :)
Yeah I'm going to try to get it figured out myself first.

We have a powder called "calmax" it's for humans but it's basically a calcium booster. Do you think that would help?? :)

I have no idea if this would work. Maybe you could try to get to eat a little oyster shell. The thing is though, sadly, the injection probably only works so well and fast because the calcium gets into the bloodstream immediately (I don't know this, I'm just guessing). Either way I would keep up the warm water and steam and try to get her to eat some oyster shell. It is possible that this is something else. Could you describe in detail where the lump is?

It maybe something else. Strange! It's on her left side, right behind her ribs but in front of her leg. She seems pretty happy that I put her on our small patch of grass (snow is everywhere else)

If this is the position of the lump, I don't think it's egg binding. The ovary is around a hen's mid to rear back, and the oviduct twists and turns like an intestine from there to the vent. Look at a chicken organ diagram (just google it), and see if the lump could be somewhere along the oviduct. I would some do extra research, and maybe contact a vet.

She usually is really puffed up. And this confuses me now lol. It's a pretty large lump that feels like an egg and if I rub it it really bulges out.

Oh and if I put any pressure on it she turns her tail to the side and her breathing sounds funny.
