This lil baby was hatched via incubator yesterday along with 3 siblings. All silkies and shipped eggs.
The lil black one has not walked normal since hatching...it leans to the side and sort of hobbies.
Here's a couple Videos - please advise what I need to do.
If u need more info please let me know.
FYI based on info I'm reading I did place chick on back and observe its legs....it's left leg goes straight down flat from its body. While it's tight leg stays up to its body.
Any ideas or suggestions as to what is going on? I'm off to go get vitamin b complex to see if that will help based on what I've read!

Hmmm. Does it hurt him? He seems in good spirits.
Not really that i can tell.
I am giving it the vitamin b complex that I dissolved and thought I would very gently just feel of the legs on both sides...I believe it is the hock on the right leg is swollen and it didn't really care for me doin that. Chirped little louder.

How much vitamin b complex do you give them? I just got some in tablet form for a chick that just hatched and been sitting on its hooks. It has been trying to stand upright but keeps falling back on to its bum.

I understood it to be an entire crushed vit b..mouth when mixed into water and given by syringe it is quite difficult to get much more than couple drops here and there at a time.

It is very safe. You essentially cannot overdose it. My chick was older (3 weeks) and suddenly couldn’t walk. I put some in their water, some in mash and for good measure I dipped her beak in a solution of it. I gave her very high doses for a week and suddenly she was walking normally!
