Oh my goodness!! What does imprinting mean during this process? I missed that in my reading up on incubating and hatching..lol...that makes total sense though with the way he is soooo upset when he cant see me! Here is a pic of the cutie!!

Absolutely!! I can't wait! I am a little unsure of the coloring in this little buddies membrane can i get your thoughts on whether this is a good color or if I need to do something to help it?

All I see is a pip, can you see the membrane what does it look like dried parchment brownish or is it white?

Like parchment color...actually I looked at it again and its more of an off white color. Not as brown as parchment paper but more off white kind of yellowish.

Okay sounds good. This one is my Cayuga and is super loud and vocal with me in its shell!! I even play my duck sounds. I installed an app that plays realistic duck sounds and cayuga and mallard (previously) both get real vocal and active...so cute!
