GOT ONE LAST NIGHT!!! had to have been last years baby. Not big but not a baby....

Awesome, I didn't get anything last night but I havnt baited the traps in 2 days because I'm working dark to dark but I'm off tomorrow and Friday so my mission will continue lol

I checked the traps this morning, had a BIG psychotic wild tomcat and a possum, the tomcat gets 1 free pass, next time he gets it lol. I actually saw him a while back trying to get into my bantam run but I shot him with an airsoft gun and he ran off, should have just taken care of the problem today but didnt want to do it in front of the wife lol. We live out in the country and we dont have "nice kitties" out here, the things are not fed by me or anyone else, feral cats

I dont know what to do with the possum, are they a threat to my chickens or just opportunistic critters that eat trash? I know the coons I have been killing were because they are smart and can access nearly anything but can possums? If we left the coop door open they would go in and eat the chickens right?

Yes the possum, will eat your chickens and eggs if he can get to them.

We killed a possum in our back yard a few weeks ago. We live in a subdivision and rarely see "wildlife", so it was quite an "event" for us. We don't even own a gun...needless to say to many of you guys...but that sucker was HARD to kill. I used to think cats had nine lives, but now I believe that possums are made of steel!! I WILL be purchasing a gun in the near future for the next critter that expects a chicken dinner in MY backyard!

I caught another last night and one trap was set off and empty, I saw a possum creeping last night so im sure thats what set it off

What kind of traps are you guys using? I'm not having any luck with a homemade one. Thanks

good job bud now if we can normal people to understand ........ They are big city rats and vermin. STOP FEEDING THE BLASTED THINGS!!!!!
