I am way ahead of you lol, when trying to free him from the trap at a better location he tried to attack me, I was afraid for my life and the life of others

the only (better) location is two foot deep, earth covered.save yourself and other flock raisers a lot of problems because he will be back if you release him..Post hole diggers work well for me

Oddly enough I had bbq chicken leftovers and a couple crawfish, I got the crawfish from my cousin that let me use the traps and I put them in a wire "can" that I made and hung it from a wire in the end of the trap, I used a wire to the top and through the bottom so they couldnt pull the bait to the side and eat the food, the only way they could get the food is go in the trap.
