1 egg or 2 never 3

I have had no issues ever with my Rhode Island Reds. I think the hatchery ones may be more aggressive. My birds are pure (heritage). Only once I had a young Rhode Island White male that turned out to be aggressive. His problem may have been because he was getting beaten up by the other males in the bachelor coop and pen he was in. I moved him out and while he was recovering he was ok but after recovery he started to jump my hubby and I. A fellow was looking for a Rhode Island White male for breeding so I gave him to the fellow and told him about the aggression. He didn't seem to care.

Wow, not much patience there, eh?
But if they're not your birds, it's not up to you.

Need to know breeds of birds and their ages.
Pics might help.
Diet, housing, and climate can have an affect too.

But not all birds lay every single day....many do not.
As @Blooie sez: "They're not pez dispensers" :gig

Oh, and..... Welcome to BYC! @Loveslittlefeet
Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, (laptop version shown), then it's always there!
