I just noticed in your photos that you still have your eggs in the automatic egg turner......!

The babies are very delicate and can get seriously injured with the egg turner in there. At lockdown(day 19) the egg turner should have been removed.

When you remove those babies, I would remove all the eggs, remove the turner and place the rest of the eggs in the incubator with the pointed ends facing down.

So I guess technically today would be day 21 as I had set the incubator late, about 9:15 pm
I did the same thing with the first batch that I set - I got the eggs at night, too. On the morning of the day I thought was "21", only 1 had hatched...but by the evening, they were pipping like crazy. :)

I was unsure what to do as this is my first time to ever incubate eggs. When I asked around I was told it was not a problem to leave the Turner in.
Can I remove it with chicks hatching?
