I came home today and checked on them and she had gotten in with the bigger chickens and got attacked. I am bringing her in to my house to separate her. She has only been pecked to the skin, and part of her wing, so I guess I was lucky that they did not kill her, but I don't want her to die so if you have any advice it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

I bet she'll be fine. Chickens heal quickly, I find. The strength of their natural health and vigor is impressive. If it were me, I'd pour some hydrogen peroxide on the wound, put a little salve on it maybe (if you have), and let her recover in a sheltered cage or something with her own feed and water where she's with the rest of the flock but physically protected from being singled out for attack. You want to keep her from the rest of the flock until the wound closes over or the others might peck at the blood and make it worse.

I think it's better for her to stay with the flock (but protected), because removing a social animal completely from it's flock is in itself a stressful experience, and it may also make it difficult to reintroduce her to her flock mates, especially if it's for a good length of time--they might view her as an outsider then and she'll just get attacked all over again.

I will keep her in for tonight then put her back out tonight, apparently there is an ice storm headed our way so I want to keep her warm. Thanks for the advice.
