1 of 5 laying with no shell

Hello. New to the forum and chickens. I have 5 Hy line brown hens about 27-28 weeks old. They started laying at 21 weeks old. About 2 weeks ago someone layed a double yolker. Ever since we have only been getting 4 eggs daily. However one of them is laying a egg with no shell. Any help will be appreciated...

Yes oyster shell in a corner feeder and using Purina layena.

Ehh...I don't think they need more calcium.....it's just a start up glitch.
Not unusual for a new layer to lay a few softies.
How many softies have you seen?
What all and how exactly are you feeding?

Every day you get one?
All other eggs have good hard shells?
Chances are it's the bird, not the diet.

Do you know which bird is laying them?
If so, you could try to 'treat' her with calcium supplement,
but good shells have to do with more than just calcium.
they need other nutrients to use that calcium and a system that's up to doing so.
There could be other things at play..stress, from overcrowding, not getting enough to eat, predator attacks .....
...and some birds are just 'lemons'.
