Not able to.Why can you not check her crop? If you leave very early you can take her off the roost before light and check then, or you can crate her for a day and check that way. Crop function is important, if the crop is not emptying, it's necessary to know. If she recently molted, she may not yet be finished and sometimes they don't eat well during it. Internal parasites are a common reason for weight loss as well, getting a look at her droppings might be helpful as well. Lice and mites can severely weaken a bird, make them anemic, and sometimes kill them. There are many variables, the more information you can provide, the better help/advice can be given.
