I've heard of a poop board and am making one for the coop, but what is a "poop door"?

It's Pop door....... where the chickens go in/out of the coop.

ah yes! Though I was missing something there. It would be nice to be able to train them to poop out the "poop door"

Something I wish I knew when I started was that I would need a place to house a sick or injured one if it became necessary. I haven't needed one yet, but I still think it would have been good to have.

Yes--- we have a large dog crate that we don't use that we could use for that but eventually I would like to have a nice area in the storage part of the shed for that!!!!! I always think-- what a pain in the butt to have DH get that out of the attic in case of an emergency!
