First pic looks like a lavendar split to me.

A split lav looks exactly the same as a non-split. There is no way to tell them apart until you breed them and see what the offspring looks like.


To the OP, your Silkie looks to be either blue or black. Very hard to tell with the camera flash.

The two that are supposed to be Dutch Bantams look like Dutch Bantams.

Most are cross-breds....the white silkie has the wrong kind of comb and willow legs...they need blue legs and a walnut comb.....one of the blue silkies in the background didn't look too bad...she shows some promise....the two pullets are not Dutch....Dutch have white earlobes and blue legs.....the red ones are cockerels...not hens/pullets...and are not Welsummers....you do have some nice colored birds...no standard color...and no standard breeds...but nice birds.... some of the silkies do look pure....Your buff cockerel laying down...should not have black in his tail....if he has pink legs...he may be an Orpington cross. Very nice barnyard chickens....but nothing I would take to a show....again....if your blue silkie has 5 toes on each foot and a walnut comb and blue legs...she could be pure.

All the actual Silkies have blue legs/skin and the blue ears. The Sizzles have hints/blue hues.
I only have 3 pure Silkies, Blue, White Roo & the baby chick. The partridge and white are Sizzle/Frizzle. Angie was supposed to be a Cochin.
I haven't seen any pink legs, yellow, black, blue, but no pink anywhere.

I'm sorry..I can see now that the one is a cochin cross...the white one....cute bird....some of the buffish colored females have pinkish white legs and so does the one buffish looking young male facing to the left in the one photo by himself...the pullet(s) in the 5th and 6th photos and the cockerel in the 10th photo..and the females in the 11th and 12th photos...I can't see some of the other's leg color because of the foot feathering or are partially hidden...I like your blue pullet the best...she's very nice...
