1 Week old babies

This morning I decided to build a brooder for our babies. They are 1 week old and have been in a plastic storage bin. Yesterday they figured out how to fly out of the bin! So, I built a 6 feet long 2 feet wide brooder box. As soon as I put the chicks in their new house they started jumping, spinning around, flapping their wings.....you can tell they are very happy.

The part I found most frustrating when I was raising the chicks is how fast they outgrew their brooders!!

That's nice great job. I need to do that one of these days I use a extra large plastic storage bin at the moment.
