1 week old chicks dying (7 deaths so far!)

Really? I would consider doing a test through them if the shipping isn’t too expensive.
In case you ever want to try it out this is the place I use.

In terms of shipping, the PCR tests for DNA viruses can be old (not sure how old but no need for very expensive shipping). Many common ailments are DNA based so that works well.
Some are RNA based and those have to be less than 24 hours old - that gets very expensive and I have never tried it.
You have to purchase the right supplies - swabs or vials - they will advise what you need. I fine throat swabs are easiest, but probably blood is more reliable.

It ended up being MG and MS. I had to cull my entire flock and I’m starting over 😞

Sorry for your loss. Do you mind sharing where you were able to get testing or a necropsy done for those who may go through this issue?
Thank you… it’s been a couple months now but I’m still not over the loss. Im looking to start over again with some quality BCM hatching eggs, so if anyone here knows of a local breeder in B.C. Canada that has them then please let me know!
As for the testing, I went to Abbotsford veterinary hospital and we did a PCR test.
