Hi! We added a pair of peaking ducklings to our flock last week. One of them developed curled up feet overnight. I splinted the feet flat for 3 days and then took them off. One foot is better but she’s still not walking. She’s been swimming in warm water twice a day which she seems to love. She isn’t growing either. I put the food and water in front of her so she doesn’t have to struggle to get at it (the water has electrolytes and probiotics added). She’s eating the multiflock starter crumble because the farm said it was fine. The two ducklings are in a kiddie pool in my basement with a yoga mat inside so they don’t slip along with some thin towels, food, water, heat lamp. Anything else I can do?! Her sister is going to be really sad if we can’t save her (and so will we!) she’s very upset when she’s alone. Thank you!!

I’d start your Pekins on some liquid b complex this link will give you all the info. https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/niacin-deficiency-in-waterfowl.1367557/. Also since I see greens in their water you need to have Chick grit out for them. In a separate lil bowl they will use it as needed. But if feeding anything beside their feed they need grit. Hopefully the b complex will get your little one up an going unless it’s failure to thrive. Hopefully not.
