1 week old guinea hen has crusty eye

Hi everyone, my grandma has a flock of about 8 guinea hens. One of the females had about 15 chicks this year and every year the others of the flock just kill them all off. Well I couldn't watch that happen this year. I went and picked 11 of them up ( they are about a week old now ) and put them in a plastic tote with paper towels for the bottom. They have a water and food feeder I got from farm supply. They also have a brooder light and it has been pretty warm outside. Been keeping they're food and water clean changing it atleast 2 a day. Been changing they're paper towels everyday. Here's my PROBLEM : today I woke up and 2 of my chicks have crusty like eyes, one crusty eye on both of them. I will post pics. Both of them seem fine, they aren't lethargic and are eating and drinking. I have noticed a little bit of runny poop here and there. Weren't showing any signs of being cold, Also! I'll post a pick of my little chick that has curled toes, what can I do about this if anything? I'm worried, I don't know what this yellow stuff is or what's causing it. What should I do next? Update : I went through and separated them all. 2 are sick for sure, 5 are showing slight symptoms ( little tiny bit of crustys on one nostril or what looks like they're eyes are tearing up, it's yellowish. ) and 4 of them have no symptoms at all. Hopefully they won't develop it if any advice please respond, thank you

It sounds a bit like they could have mycoplasma gallisepticum or MG, a common respiratory disease in poultry. Tylan 50 injectable is used in chickens and turkeys to treat that, and it can be given orally. Dosage for most birds is 0.2 ml per pound twice daily for 5 days, and dosage ahould be reduced for smaller birds. You could also consult a vet or local extension agent to get testing done. Clean crusty eyes with saline, and apply either some Terramycin antibiotic eye ointment from feed stores twice daily, or Vetericyn Eye Gel.

Thank you very much! Does the brand of saline matter? Also, how do you give the Tylan 50, is It mixed with food or water? One more thing, should I keep them all separated until they're symptoms clear up? I'm sorry for all the questions I'm a first timer and have always loved chickens. I was reading around and seen something call coryza and got really worried. I'm glad to hear you don't suspect that. They are not coughing or sneezing. Thank you again so much for replying.
