1 year old Easter egger

Light blue, very light. No chicken lays really dark blue eggs- the closest they get is a pale sky blue color.

I agree, the eggs will probably be a light bluish color (although some EE lay pale pinkish or even tan eggs). The first egg we ever got from any of our girls came from an EE, here's a photo of it:


I believe the Cream Legbars lay a darker blue but not what you could call deep blue. I don't have one in our mixed flock, but here's a stock image you can see for comparison to my egg:


And of course, even within breed, the eggs can vary in shade. Eggs can also differ slightly depending on where they are in their laying cycle.
