What is wrong with my poor girl?

I have her separated from the others. Her leg is warm to the touch

and she isn't able to walk on it besides limp to the other side of her pen. But she pretty much sits in her nest until I come to get her to out her in the kiddie pool for a bath. All the while she keeps her leg elevated.

These ducks are my pets. We do not raise for meat.

Bumble foot or a prickle...?.....If bumble foot it needs to be treated ...Like a wart.....

Prickles can be removed...Wash her foot really good and try to see if puss comes out...Bandage the foot..

If her foot is warm, I would be concerned about infection spreading. If you can get a vet to help, that would be best.

Meanwhile, I would give lukewarm water tub time, then follow with a drop or two of clear iodine, or some antibiotic ointment without painkiller, daily, at bedtime, at least. Ointment three times a day would be better, I think. Check to see if there is a splinter.
