1 year old salmon favorelle not laying

I have a salmon favorelle who’s over a year old. I got her last June and she was already close to laying age…..or so I thought. A year later and still no eggs. She is a roo favorite and frequents nesting boxes often for her “smoke break”. The last two weeks though she has been spending hours in the nesting boxes. Like anywhere from 3-6 hours. Is there any hope that she will ever lay an egg? I thought maybe she was going broody as she tolls the fake eggs around. Tried to offer her some real ones to hatch but she ignored them. I do t understand her!

I guess she's just a dud? Might be something physically wrong internally that's causing her to not lay.
