Hello, as stated above our girl Carrie is not herself. Was staying away from our other 3 girls, white, crusty messy butt. We've took her to a nearby vet and they did an X-ray to disprove being egg bound. We didn't believe that would be the case although she is not currently laying. They said they saw something that could possibly be worms in her belly through the X-ray when my husband and I believe she may have vent fleet. Vet gave us a dewormer called panacur but she isn't positive that's necessary. I looked the med up and its for dogs so we weren't comfortable giving it to her and have been relying on live yogurt, ACV in her water and keeping her inside the house and cleaning her bum daily. Are we doing everything we can? It's been 4 days now, she seems a little more active in her big cage but her poop isn't firming up. We've added zucchini because we read that could act as natural dewormer if that would be the case and gave bits of banana to (what I think may) firm it up and added pellet crumbles but she's not really interested in the pellets. Our 3 other girls seem fine, although one acted strange 2 days prior to Carrie being ill. She drank a lot of water but was fine the next day and since. Suggestions or meds we can ask that vet for would be so appreciated. Thank you!

Hi, that's ok- it was a busy time evidently. She's doing better but still not laying. We've put her back outside with the others. Never gave her the dewormer. I still don't feel like they're 100%. An old farmer friend of the family said spring is a crazy time for them. Idk. Thank you 🙂
