10 BBS Orps - Seven hatched! PICS P.2 & 4

I had my humidity around 45% at the beginning, then cranked it to 65% for the last three days.

One more hatched. One is still left to go. Unfortunately three had died. Two around day 19 and one yesterday. He had absorbed the yolk and everything, just never pipped. I don't know what happened and I feel bad, but I guess there was nothing to be done.

The last one finally hatched - seven total. Going to post some pics - I have a hard time telling what is blue, black, or splash LOL.

And here is the last one, lucky number seven, looking quite unhappy to have been caught in this position!

It was a fun hatch, even if it was only a low percentage. I will hopefully do better next time!

They look all blue. Varying shades from light to dark.

70% on shipped bbs eggs is a very good hatch rate.

I cringe at the thought of how many I had at 0%.

Also out of 29 EXPENSIVE!! blrw I only have 7 showing development. Wanna trade hatches?

Thank you! That makes me feel better! I thought i did everything by the book, shy of maybe candling too much. I guess some things you just can't control!

Looks like 1 nice looking blue and the rest look like darker blue. Also looks like at least 2 boys there. Good Job.
