10 Cornish X eggs in the incubator!

Good luck with Sunny, I hope she lives a long life and gives you much joy.

Here is one I butchered last year, dressed out at 12 pounds.

How old was he when you sent him to freezer camp?

I had a lot 11 pounders at 17-19 weeks. I am thinking the ones I have now would dress out around 15 lbs if not more.

You are right Ralph, pictures are deceiving. The bucket does help with the comparison as does taking a pic over them down at the back. Yours look very similar to Sunny.

Offgrid: yours look slender but it could have just been the angle and she was stretched up at the time. That bird you butchered is ginormous! My heart goes out to you that you have to do this on your own. I would so lend a hand if I lived near you!

You can lend a hand to me anytime. I will even look up the tickets for you on Kayak.

I bet for less than 500 bucks you could come and help me butcher!

This has been a very interesting topic. I've got plans to order Jersey Giants,White Plymouth Rocks, and Dark Cornish next month. Thanks to this thread I just added Jumbo Cornish X to my order. All will be free range. Keep up the posts. They have helped me tremendously
