Offering 10 (plus extras as available) from my breeding pen of Bantam Cochins. The rooster (named Monet) is a splash Lemon Blue (gold birchen based) and he is in a pen with a splash hen, 2 blue hens, and a birchen hen. I do not show the birds, but they each come from good breeder stock with good feathering and color and true to breed characteristics.
I have been hatching eggs for a couple of months and have had super fertility on these eggs. However, please understand that I cannot guarantee any hatch rate for you. I will send extras to help compensate for anything that might happen due to shipping, etc. I will pack each egg carefully and mark the box as fragile, etc. The eggs will be fresh - only a a couple days old and shipped priority mail, to offer you the best opportunity for a successful hatch.
Please contact me with any questions and I will do my best to answer them for you.
Robert

I'm mailing out a dozen eggs to Alaska this morning. I hope they make that long trip. They girls are laying well right now. I usually get 3 eggs from 4 hens each day (although they all decided to take the same day off one day last week and I got 0 eggs from them that day) i've also got a few morein the bator ready to hatch this weekend (plus about 25 in the brooder).

This is according to the chicken calculator:
The eggs from the blue and splash hens would hatch out blue or splash and carry the lemon blue (gold birchen/brown red) gene. (The splash hen is split to Lemon Blue and 50% of her eggs should hatch Lemon Blue (splash) ) Then 50% of THEIR chicks would be Lemon Blue.
With the eggs from the Birchen hen, all of the pullets would be lemon blue and all of the roos would be blue birchen (silver).

So from these eggs, you will get a mix of lemon blue, blue birchen, blues and splash (carrying the lemon blue gene for the next generation), and possibly some splash Lemon Blues.

I hope that is helpful.
Robert
