Picked up 10 K-22 red broilers chicks from a friend last night. I haven't done meaties in a few years and thought I would try a different breed.
They take about two weeks longer than the cornish giants, but my friend said they are worth it.
Can't wait to put them outside on the green grass and watch them grow.
Does anyone have a basic plan or instructions for a chicken tractor? I've seen some of the great pictures here, but just kind of wondered what type of material is better wood or pvc pipe and easier to work with.
