I have a trio of Muscovies - of course it was supposed to be one drake and two hens but ended up being one hen and two drakes :(
They were hatched last May which makes them 10 months old now and we still haven't gotten any eggs. What gives? I read they can start laying around 5-6 months old but that they might also wait till spring. Well, now it's spring, the weather here is fabulous, and I'm getting impatient. Any advice?

Two drakes and one duck are not a healthy combination for the duck. Overmating can affect egg laying and cause harm to the duck.

There may be rare exceptions, but often what I see on the forum are injured ducks.

Please add more ducks at least 2-3 ducks per drake, I have Muscovy's and can say if I had 1 duck and 2 drakes she'd never be left alone long enough to lay and egg she'd be so stressed from mating. And all my girls are usually 7-9 months old before they begin to lay.
