We bought day old sexed chicks, and from when I looked at the feathers on the wings they all looked female. But a friend who has had chickens longer visited the other day and pointed out one as a possible rooster. Now that she said that, I'm not sure. The comb is slightly darker then the other hens, and the tail feathers curl down, but it is probably the most skittish of all our chickens. It will square up with the other chickens, but when I enter the run, it usually runs and hides in the coop.
I know it will be more obvious in a few weeks, but I'm curious what others think! Thanks.
